Solar Panels in Pedreguer: Village Roofs and Hillside Homes
Pedreguer sits inland in the Marina Alta, a short drive from Ondara and Dénia and close to the AP-7 and N-332. Two very different roof situations exist side by side here: compact roofs and terraces in the village core, and detached houses on larger plots in the residential areas outside it. We survey the actual roof before proposing anything, and we handle the municipal file and the autoconsumo registration for you.
Two roof situations in one municipality
In the village core the limiting factor is usually usable area and neighbouring buildings: a terrace roof can be excellent, but the shadow of an adjoining house at the start and end of the day changes which part of it is worth using. On the detached houses outside the core the opposite applies — there is normally area to spare, so the question becomes orientation, tilt and whether trees or the surrounding terrain cut into the early or late hours. We measure both cases on site rather than assuming one is better.
How much of the production you will actually use
Savings depend less on how big the system is than on how much of its output is used in the house at the moment it is produced. A home occupied all year, with a pool pump, air conditioning in summer and hot water, absorbs a large share directly. A house used only part of the year exports far more. Both can be worth doing, but they are sized differently, and the honest way to decide is to look at twelve months of your bills rather than at a package size.
