This is an inland location on the historic huerta landscape, away from the direct sea breeze. Mutxamel: a town core plus separate villa urbanisations
Mutxamel is an inland municipality of l'Alacantí covering 47.7 km² — far larger than its neighbours in the Alicante belt. Much of its housing is not in the town at all, but in urbanisations scattered across the term, several of them planned as their own urban sectors. That separation is the defining feature of solar work here.
- Bonalba. A populated nucleus in the north-east of the term, next to the golf course and reached via the CV-773, near the boundaries with Alicante and Busot. Detached houses on generous plots at moderate altitude — the most straightforward roofs in the municipality, and the ones where a wallbox is most often already present.
- Río Park. An urbanisation within the L'Almaina rural partida, bordering the municipal term of Alicante and built out in phases. Plot sizes and roof types vary between phases, so a design that fits one street does not automatically fit the next.
- Valle del Sol. A further residential area of the term, served by the municipal M-1 bus route that links the town centre with Bonalba and Río Park. Journey distance from the core matters here for both service visits and grid connection details.
- Town centre and the historic huerta. The urban core grew from the historic Huerta de Alicante irrigation landscape. Roofs are smaller and closer together than in the urbanisations, with the usual constraints of an established town centre.
- Bec de l'Àguila. The municipal natural site declared by the Consell, in the north of the term. Where a property sits near a protected area, the environmental and municipal framework is checked before the design is finalised.
