Solar Panels in Els Poblets
Els Poblets sits on the coast immediately north of Dénia and grew out of the historic hamlets of Setla, Mira-rosa and Miraflor. It is a municipality of low-rise villas and second homes close to the Almadrava and Barranquets beach areas — a profile with its own solar considerations: sea air, seasonal occupancy and summer-heavy consumption.
Coastal position, sun and salt
Being close to the sea gives open, unshaded roofs and excellent irradiation, but it also means salt-laden air. That influences the mounting hardware and fixings we specify and makes a proper cleaning and inspection routine more relevant than it is inland. Roof orientation, tilt and any shading from pines or neighbouring properties are surveyed individually.
Villas, second homes and seasonal use
Many Els Poblets properties are second homes owned by families from northern Europe, occupied intensely in summer and lightly the rest of the year. The summer load — air conditioning, a pool pump, hot water and guests — lands exactly in the hours of highest production. Out of season, a small background load continues (fridge, alarm, dehumidifier, pool filtration), and surplus is credited on the bill under the compensation scheme.
